Every Sour Helps
In February this year we said goodbye to our tropical and raspberry sours, making way for two brand new beers on Tesco shelves. We’re anything but complacent here at Vault City, and we’re excited to share something new that’s been rolling out to Tesco stores across the UK over the last few weeks…
Bye Bye Blueberry
Blueberry Maple was our pancake inspired, fruited pastry sour. Stacked with flavour, this vegan friendly beer was sweet and tannic with a silky-smooth mouthfeel. We added lashings of fresh and vibrant Scottish blueberries cut through decadent layers of maple to create a perfect counterpart to the mighty Triple Fruited Mango.
It’s now time to say goodbye to Blueberry Maple, but don’t flip-out, we brewed something special to stack up against our last Tesco release.
Hello Raspberry Strawberry Coconut Ripple
This velvety smooth, ice cream inspired sour beer is refreshingly sweet and tart in equal measure.
Our vegan friendly, dessert style sour is jam-packed with raspberries, strawberries coconut and vanilla for an authentic flavour so big you could stick a flake in it.
Evolving recipes
Our favourite thing about craft beer is that we get to experiment with so many great flavours, with new releases every 2-3 weeks. This means we can test recipes, gather feedback, and decide if there are any beers we’d love to revisit.
Our latest Tesco release started life as a session sour back in February, at the first glimpse of winter sun. We knew right away this would be popular and when we got the chance to revisit the recipe, all we wanted was to add some additional fruit to round off the flavour.
Where to get it
Like all our supermarket releases, Raspberry Strawberry Coconut Ripple sits out with our regular releases, which we’ll continue to brew every 2-3 weeks with sessions, mid and high Vault-age sours available in bottle shops, bars, and our web store.
Our new release is a nationwide listing and should be available across all major Tesco stores in the UK. If you’re not seeing it on shelf already, then it should be with you very soon…
Thanks to our house mixed-culture, they’re shelf stable like all our beers, so they don’t need refrigerated in store, but it’s worth chilling them once you get them home so they can be enjoyed at the perfect temperature. One more thing to add to the weekly shop!
