Description

Each brewery involved has created a limited‑edition beer, and for us that means 15% of profits from Tartan Brew are donated to the Tartan Army Sunshine Appeal (TASA). Founded in 2003, TASA is a registered Scottish charity (SC041455) linked to Scotland’s travelling supporters, raising funds for children’s charities at 110 consecutive Scotland matches across 50 countries worldwide. Wherever the Tartan Army goes, they give back.

ABOUT THE BREWER

Big flavours and bright colours, that’s what you can expect from Vault City Brewing. We’re the UK’s biggest sour beer producer and we’ve been making fruit-forward, modern sour beers and decadent stouts in Edinburgh since 2018.  

Our mixed fermentation style and distinctive house culture create the perfect base for real fruit ingredients, which gives our beer its intense aroma and flavour, not to mention the eye-catching colours.  

You’ll find Vault City Brewing in the seaside suburb of Portobello, Edinburgh, where we brew almost 500,000 litres of beer each year.

Our Edinburgh taproom is home to some of the freshest Vault City beer you’ll ever try. The Wee Vault has more taps than seats, so this cosy Haymarket craft beer bar could be your new favourite place to sample sours, or just a scheduled stop-off before a brisk 2-minute walk to Haymarket train station.
