2022 has been a wild year for us at Vault City. We've said hello to loads of new faces already, and with the opening of Porty Vault, our taproom and smokehouse, our team's growing even bigger.
We're now on the lookout for full and part-time bartenders for both The Wee Vault, our Haymarket taproom and Porty Vault, our taproom & smokehouse in Portobello. We're also looking for a talented kitchen assistant/cook to help us whip up a storm in Porty.
Here's the important bit; we're offering £11 per hour for our bartender roles and £11-£14 per hour for our kitchen role. Our team members also get tips paid directly to their bank account from Tip Jar.
About You
If we've learned anything over the last 4 years at Vault City, it's that a lot can be accomplished with a can do attitude. So, don't worry if you don't have all the experience you think you'd need, it's certainly nice to have - but it isn't the be all and end all for us!
We're looking for someone who's enthusiastic and friendly, and if you like sour beers then that's definitely a bonus but not essential! Our ideal candidates have passion for the craft beer industry, and if you've bar and cellar experience then that would come in handy.
For our kitchen staff we're keen to hire someone who loves low & slow BBQ food, but again, it's a bonus but not essential. A can-do attitude and a willingness to learn is what matters most to us.
About Us
You may be a sour beer advocate who's tried every Sour Sunday release this year, or you may have just heard of Vault City. What's important to know, is that we’re a forward-thinking, adventurous brewery who love making fruit-focussed, modern sour beers.
We sell our beers around the world in specialist bottle shops, bars and in our two taprooms in Haymarket and Portobello. We’re serious about craft beer but we don’t take ourselves too seriously. Working with us you’ll enjoy regular team building events and private healthcare/dental. You'll also get 50% off merch, and £600 credit per year to spend on Vault City releases, food, and merch from our taprooms, smokehouse and online shop.
All staff will also get a 20% discount on Vault City releases and food in our taprooms and smokehouse when not paying with vouchers.
