Bar & Kitchen Roles at The Porty Vault

Vault City Portobello Taproom and Smokehouse The Porty Vault

Want to Work for Vault City?

Come join the Porty Vault, our Portobello taproom and smokehouse, opening this summer. We're looking for a range of roles to join our ever-growing team; from full and part-time bartenders to chefs and kitchen staff for our smokehouse.

Our part-time roles will be around 20 hours per week across our opening hours; which are currently Sun-Thu, 12pm - 10pm, Fri-Sat, 12pm-1am. We're offering a  salary of £11.00 per hour. We also have chef roles and kitchen staff vacancies available at various levels, with a salary of £11-£14. Our team members will also get tips paid directly to your bank account from Tip Jar.

About You

Our ideal candidates have passion for the craft beer industry with bar and cellar experience and the ability to lift and move 30L kegs. We're looking for someone who's enthusiastic and friendly, and if you like sour beers then that's definitely a bonus but not essential!

For our kitchen staff we're keen to hire someone who loves low & slow BBQ food, but again, it's a bonus but not essential. You'll be working with our Head Chef, Darren Lim, who previously ran some of the top 50 steak restaurants in the world, so a can-do attitude and a willingness to learn is what matters most to us.

About Us

We’re a forward-thinking, adventurous brewery who love making fruit-focussed, modern sour beers. We sell our beers around the world in specialist bottle shops, bars and in our own Haymarket Tasting room and bottle shop, The Wee Vault.

We’re serious about craft beer but we don’t take ourselves too seriously. Working with us you’ll enjoy private healthcare and private dental, regular team building events, a cycle to work scheme, and loads of free beer.
